Vinification
CHATEAU TEYSSIER is handpicked having had green harvesting to ensure concentration. The grapes are sorted – firstly by bunch and then, after destemming, grape by grape. Only conveyors are used to transport the grapes and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks after cold maceration. The wines are aged in French oak – a
quarter of which is new.

It has a lovely nose, expressive, pure, bright and open, with perfumes of red plums and a chalky freshness giving it a sense of purity and lift
Taste:
A serious, broad and textural palate, rich and filled with spiced plum fruit, with a peppery energy through the middle. There is plenty of grip, velvety and tightly grained, and bright acidity as well. Substantial, broad, convincing, with a chalky perfume
Food pairing:
Excellent accompaniment with pasta with red meaty sauces, red meat, stews and aged cheeses
