Vinification 

Hand harvested grapes and destemming followed by traditional vinification of the wine and fermented in oak barrels for 12 months

Aging

In oak barrels for 12 months

Colour:

Intense ruby red

Bouquet:

A full bodied red wine with strong aromas of black fruit, notes of cassis, cherries and earth

Taste:

Bold, with high acidity and firm tannins, well structured yet elegant on the palate and a silky, textured finish

Food pairing:

Beef, veal. game and mature, aged cheeses.

Alcohol:  13% Vol.

Serving Temperature:

18 °C.
