The hand picked and destalked grapes are vinified in tanks, with 18 to 20 days of maceration so as to obtain a robust wine with silky tannins

In oak casks for 9 to 10 months

Well-balanced and warm on the nose, with notes of red fruit, chocolate and coffee

Taste:

Saumur Puy-Notre-Dam is an intense wine with good structure and balance. Flavours are predominantly ripe red fruit

Red meats, poultry, game and mature, aged cheeses.

Alcohol:  13% Vol.
