Terroir

Sandy, silt with iron deposits.

Tempranillo 100%

Vinification 

Manual harvesting in crates followed by sorting on conveyor belts before and after stemming.  Cold maceration at 6ºC, for 4 to 5 days in vats, followed by traditional alcoholic fermentation with regular cap plunging, racking and pumping over.  Once fermentation is complete the wine is left to macerate for around one week, in order to extract tannins and obtain a fine structure.  Complete malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.

6 months in 100% French oak barrels.

Deep red with purple hues

Bouquet:

Expressive nose of berries and black fruit, caramel and vanilla notes

Taste:

Structured and concentrated with layered tannins and well balanced acidity. Plum and jam overtones finishing off with an elegant long lasting aftertaste.

Food Pairing

Beef, lamb, venison and wild boar, aged mature cheeses.

18 °C.
