Terroir
Gravel, sandy rock with proportions of clay and sandstone soils
Grapes
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Vinification
Hand harvested grapes and destemming followed by traditional vinification of the wine staying in 25% new oak for 12 months. Fermentation is carried out in barrels with batonnage de lie and stays in oak for a further 10 months.

In oak barrels for 10 months after vinification of 12 months

Aromas of cherry and tobacco, plums and earthy notes
Taste:
Bold and structured with well balanced acidity and tannins. The palate is complex with persistent flavours of dark fruit, plums and leather finishing off with a long lasting elegant aftertaste

Beef, veal, game, stews and mature, aged cheeses.
Alcohol: 13.5% Vol.
